Cortelyou Heritage Society

Ensuring DePaul's Long-Term Success

Named for the Rev. John R. Cortelyou, C.M., who served DePaul for more than 60 years, the Cortelyou Heritage Society (CHS) is a special cohort of donors who have thoughtfully included DePaul in their estate plans. Gifts from CHS members have played a vital role in transforming DePaul into the dynamic university it is today. Members share a special connection to DePaul and are included in unique engagement opportunities with the university that are exclusive to this group.

Becoming a member of the Cortelyou Heritage Society is not reserved for the wealthy. Planned giving can be an accessible way to support DePaul’s mission, leave a lasting legacy and perhaps create an income for life. Meaningful deferred gifts come from alumni and friends of all ages and from all walks of life.

DePaul’s experienced planned giving team can work with you on gift vehicles that are tax efficient, deeply meaningful and accomplish important financial goals for you and those you love. Contact our office to start a conversation.
